Watching them play

Their skill, their agility

Feline grace and beauty

Just to chase a dream of perfection

The end product of the commitment and love, displayed in awesome skill.

So amazing, whispers he

And the fire in his eyes devour him

The young boy looks

At the frantic scribbling of pencils

Sees a shining ciurass against the mental antagonist

And a jackpot of one answer out of infinity

Oh the dedication of a young lifetime

To be encompassed within but the print of a sheet

Look at the young boy

Learning the ways of the world

Through a gaze that never falters

And a heart that overflows with desire

For mental capability is but what the mind can conceive

And with the believe that you can

Comes the power to move mountains

The young boy runs along a road

That entails so many powerful lessons

Reflections the fuel along the road

And determination the relentless drive

With wisdom the gold at the end of the rainbow

And such beautiful perfection to be reached

But the boy sees

Such thorns below the roses

And so far the fall to darkness below

And it is only at night the boy sees the stars

And only in turning back can he see an expanse further than his eye can comprehend

But the world moves on, and the dawn brings new light

And slowly the heavens bring new hope

The flower buds open to the cool morning air

With a lighter step

Upon a the road past trodden

The boy runs on, towards a goal last seen

Reach for the sky

And soar on wings buffeted by the warm thermals below

Life a rose of fire and desire tinged with a droplet of sadness

Knowing that the sky forever moves upwards.

Or build a glass ceiling with golden steps and marble floor so near below

A melancholic nightingale singing beautiful blues behind a haven of metal

Forever only to dream of flying free.

Look at the boy...

He knowingly smiles

The power of humility and knowledge residing in the bosom

And with fire in his eyes, and a passion in his soul

He takes the first step
